Tenable Network Security would like to announce and invite
anyone interested in downloading and testing the NeVO passive
vulnerability scanner for the month of September to immediately
do so. This is a fully functional product that Tenable has
recently started to offer and we are providing license keys for
the month of September for immediate download.
NeVO uses a signature language to passively find your network's
hosts, open ports, active services and vulnerabilities in your
server and client software. It does this in 'real time' without
any need to actively scan a network system. NeVO can be deployed
on a typical UNIX NIDS platform such as Snort or Dragon.
NeVO produces native vulnerability reports that are compatible
with the Nessus report format.
