I have not been able to get Nessus 2.0.8a to perform any scans on my network. Recently we have turned off ICMP Ping on our network. Could this be keeping Nessus from running any scans?
Yes.
It can be resolved either by allowing ICMP Echo from your scanner, or removeing the "ping host" option in your Nessus client.
