I have been following instructions from the nessus website and everything has been going fine until the last step:
AppleKick:/Users/TopKick/nessus-plugins root# configure; make; make install
su: configure: command not found
Makefile:1: nessus.tmpl: No such file or directory
make: *** No rule to make target `nessus.tmpl'. Stop.

In looking though the directory it reveals:
