Some of you may remember our previous posting describing a project that we were developing that is an add-on to Nessus for managing and scheduling multiple Nessus scans called Nessus Command Center (NCC). This software will primarily be useful for consultants and security managers who run scans for different companies and want to keep track of and automate them. It might also come in handy for a security admin for a large company with multiple divisions and subnets to scan on a regular basis.
At any rate, weve been busy working on our project over the last 9 months and it is just about ready for release. It is PHP/Perl/MySQL based so it requires all of those to run. Linux/Apache are the preferred platforms but I assume it will run on any PHP compliant webserver and any Nessus compliant OS that supports Perl and MySQL. The official website is www.netsecuritysvcs.com/ncc The official release date is December somethingth The real reason for this post, (besides blowing our horn) is that we need some guinea pi... I mean beta users. Before we turn this loose on the unsuspecting public, Id like for some knowledgeable users to help us make sure it really works for other folks and the documentation is clear, etc. Any takers? Please email if you are interested and well shoot you a beta copy as its not available on the web site yet.
