Hi all,

got a quick question.

I want to create a "sanity check" link on one of my web pages so that
when a user clicks on a link a nessus scan is performed of their ip address and once finished a web page displays the results of the scan. The idea is to generate an xml output file and use the nessus xslt template ( or something like it) to produce the final display.

I' *think* I've figured out how to do most things from the nessus man page, but it would be better if,rather than saving the output in a temp file and then reading the file, I could redirect the nessus output to stdout whoich i could then apply the xslt transformation to

Anyone know if you can do this sort of thing? the nessus client seems to expect a mandatory output file argument.

alex
