hi, i need to scan a windows-only-network (well still exists in some environments ;-), with about 2.500 clients (windows xp/win 2000/win nt). i have admin access to all workstations and no deskptop firewalls will run during the tests.
but i need only: 1)current client MAC address/ip address 2)windows version and maybe windows service pack version 3)netbios hostname 4)domain membership so i would like to have reliable results, but all nessus scans i've done so far, wasn't very accurate and pretty slow :-( would it make sense to use also other os-fingerprinting tools, like xprobe2 or p0f ? any help is greatly appreciate it ! thanks dude _______________________________________________ Nessus mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.nessus.org/mailman/listinfo/nessus
