FOR OFFICIAL USE ONLY The problem was with bison. The sunfreeware version of bison demands to use /usr/ccs/bin/m4, even if /usr/local/bin/m4 is first in the path. I mv'd /usr/ccs/bin/m4 to /usr/ccs/bin/m5, assuming that bison would fail to find /usr/ccs/bin/m4, and use /usr/local/bin/m4.
Unfortunately, bison failed gracelessly. To test this, I moved /usr/local/bin/m4 to /usr/ccs/bin/m4 ; the program compiled without a hitch. Time to recompile bison and to decrease the amount of trust I have in sunfreeware.com -------------------------- Nothing is ever lost by courtesy. It is the cheapest of the pleasures; costs nothing and conveys much. It pleases him who gives and him who receives, and thus, like mercy, it is twice blessed. ~ Erastus Wiman ~ This may contain information exempt from mandatory disclosure under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). _______________________________________________ Nessus mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.nessus.org/mailman/listinfo/nessus
