Title: Bad/little results on scan...

I am performing a scan of web servers located in a DMZ.  Specifically, I am on the internal network and going through a firewall as well as a load balancer/web switch in the DMZ to hit the web servers.  The web servers, themselves, do not have public IP addresses, only private addresses (i.e., 192.168.xxx.xxx).  The load balancer/web switch is serving as a proxy and performing NAT for the web servers.  My problem is that when I scanned the public IP addresses provided for by the load balancer/web switch with NO SMB Administrator ID, I got more results then when I scanned the private IP addresses WITH an SMB Administrator ID.  The whole situation has me a little confused – it seems the results should be the reverse of what I have gotten.

Thanks for any input.
