I meant that after the port scan for each host, nessus is also trying all the selected plugins on each host (All but Dangerous) I have selected for safe checks and scan optimization. "This is a SYN scanner; get rid of it. ping_host.nasl (10180) will flag hosts that are down and they should then be skipped." If I do that, how do I tell nessus to use syn scans for hosts that are alive ? Thanks for your help.
