The GPL is a license between you (the end-user) and Tenable.
So if Tenable gives you plugins to use with NASL, I don't see Tenable going
after itself for infringement - that's why I say it's an exception Tenable
grants to itself. If someone else distributes non-GPL plugins, then
Tenable will probably approach them to solve that problem.
If you have more questions about IP property and software licenses, I
strongly suggest you to find a lawyer and ask him about this.
