This is a false statement. Simply do :
nessus -q localhost 1241 <login> <password> <targets> <results>
(where <targets> is the name of a file containing the list of IPs to
scan)
This is launch a scan with the default settings against the specified
host. You can also use George Theall's update-nessusrc to create a
tuned .nessusrc file.
