Sorry guys if I'm asking a stupid question but I'm really new to this. I have installed nessus and when I'm trying to scan for a particular Microsoft Securty Patch (for example ms05-009), nessus comes back with the message that the report is empty (this is when I have port 80 specified and have "treat not scanned ports as closed" enabled). I did input the user name and a password for Samba account - but no luck.
Nessus is running on SuSe Linux Pro 9.2 Anyone that could help?
