Thanks,
I was searching for nessuswx(and no I can not afford Newt to do my scans but thank you very much) command line arguments before instead of how to use nessus. I was not interested
in how to use nessus from an application level. I was interested in how to use the protocol.
However I did find a reference to NTP 1.2 which helped me to further refine my search.
luckily came across a refererence to Nessus Transfer Protocol White Paper 1.0/1.2.
http://cvsweb.nessus.org/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/nessus-core/doc/ntp/ntp_white_paper_11.txt?rev=1.4

This is what I was looking for. I appologize in advance for not asking where can I find a
the Nessus Transfer Protocol documented.
Your response put me in the right direction.

Thank you, again

Not to sound funny but I went to google and typed in nessus client and I found a bunch of sites with various info on how to use the client
