Dear support,
I am having some trouble installing Nessus. I
installed Nessus a coupe of years back and remember it being easy to install.
This is a new install on a new PC, before used the lynx
-source http://install.nessus.org | sh command and
it did everything for me. However this option no longer works for me on
my new PC. It is a reinstall version of Red Hat linux 9 I’m using.
First of all it’s says something about not package
gtk+-2.0 not found but will continue without GUI.
Then it seems to go through where I want it installed
(/usr/local) > STABLE > WWW > Proxy no > then I get this Forbidden
error:
Nessus will now be installed on this host.
The
packages will first be
downloaded from nessus.org, then they will be compiled
and installed

Please help on this, it must be something silly I’m
missing here (being a Windows man really doesn’t help).
Thanks
Andy
