Didn't want to wait for 2.2.6 (as I still had pending scans) so I still got to use the newer plugins by:
1. Updating plugins in NeWT (9000+).
2. Copying all .nasl, .inc and .nes files from NeWT's /plugins/scripts/ dir to my Linux box's plugins directory (with proper chmod settings applied).
HTH. Regards,
w.

Didn't get a chance to try that. I removed totally the plugins
directory, and reinstalled the plug ins. Have not run an update. Will
wait for 2.2.6

Do you still have this problem if you remove the plugin cache (eg,
/usr/local/lib/nessus/plugins/.desc/) and restart nesssud?
