I had the same problem, but not on fedora. My system was registered ok and updating untill today I got also the same message with nessus-update-plugins
I'll checked nessus-fetch --check and gave me this "nessus-fetch --check An error occured: Account expired" I request a registration key again, and registered nessus for the second time, that was succesfull updates where also successfull. But when I try to start I'll get this: [##################### ][1193] Won't allocate a pointer of size -1616611401 !
