v 21 downloaded and installed fine for me. There were a few quirks but the scripting is a good place to start. Unless you intend to consider integration (distributed Nessus scanning, other scan engines), I recall that it works out of the box.
If you need to go further, this thread may need to be moved off of the Nessus List.

I tried the inprotect product, but can't get the latest version to even run.

I am trying to input nessus nbe results into a mysql database and generate
some reports out of it .
Can someone guide me to any perl /shell scripts which can do that job ?
