I would consider it as more managerial thing rather than practical. More helpful would be calculated number of high risk vulnerabilities per a host that I usually provide in reports.

It sure would be nice if there was a single check box that included all of the checks for the current SANS TOP 20 items.  Yes, you can achieve this with the update-nessus Perl script, but it is not as straight forward.

 

While I realize this is just a piece of the pie, since it is such a publicized list, being able to say specifically that we are not vulnerable to any of these vulnerabilities is a good thing.
