The question about the "Do not scan fragile devices" raises a tangential question in my mind about the helpfulness of having a mixture of "do" and "do not" plug-ins. Today I have noticed for the firsts time that in the "Settings" family I have "do not scan printers" enabled (although printers continue to be scanned - surely it is by scanning that they can be identified as printers anyway?). I enabled the "Settings" group of plug-ins on the assumption that it would cause tests to be run rather than running "do not" tests.
