The messages you're seeing are relatively harmless. You could grep nessusd.messages on 3890 to see which plugin is causing the "overloaded CPU" messages. As for the "broken pipe" messages, that's likely to occur when a plugin such as the Ping scanner determines a target is dead and stops the scan while a .nes plugin is in progress.
