Hi,

Unfortunately I am unable to reproduce the problem. The only thing I
can think of is that the file is not compiled for you architecture.
Could you copy the full output of the commands:

$ uname -a

$ file libstdc++.so.6

$ locate libstdc++.so.6

If the file command says something about a symlink, could you repeat
for the linked file. Cheers. Note that NESSY is pure Python code,
therefore such an error cannot be due to NESSY but only your Python
software setup. I find it very bizarre that you have a libstdc++.so.6
file in the base NESSY directory, as this file is not distributed with
NESSY.

The very likely culprit is wxPython. Users for the software relax
(http://www.nmr-relax.com) often encounter issues with wxPython
installations, for example some recent issues:

http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.science.nmr.relax.user/1401
http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.science.nmr.relax.user/1247/focus=1248

Though this libstdc++.so.6 problem has not been encountered with
relax. I would recommend trying to run the wxPython demo and see if
that works. I hope some of this info helps.

Regards,

Edward
