Note that NESSY is in maintenance mode, so if the issue requires a lot of work, there may be no developers available to resolve the bug. If you do not know who I am, I am the current maintainer of the NESSY project as well as the project administrator for relax (http://www.nmr-relax.com/), minfx (https://gna.org/projects/minfx/), and bmrblib (https://gna.org/projects/bmrblib/).
A possible solution would be to use the NESSY sources directly. You will need to install Python, numpy, scipy, and wxPython to run this. These are the same dependencies as relax, and you can use the links at http://www.nmr-relax.com/download.html#Mac_OS_X to download the necessary Mac OS X packages. You will also need to install the subversion program. You can then obtain the source code by typing: $ svn co http://svn.gna.org/svn/nessy/nessy in a terminal. This will create the 'nessy' directory.
