Interesting... BR> Is there also supposed to be a limit on the packet size that the NET-SNMP BR> utilities will accept? For example, will the snmpbulkget command return BR> an error code or reject packets exceeding some maximum size? Now I'm guessing that the MAX_SIZE limit only applied to incoming packets, and thus would be the limiting factor for set requests. I'd also guess that the MAX_PDU, then, must be for limiting the size of get-bulk responses. Although that doesn't explain why it's not used anywhere in the code! -- Robert Story; NET-SNMP Junkie <http://www.net-snmp.org/> <irc://irc.freenode.net/#net-snmp> Archive: <http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?forum=net-snmp-coders> You are lost in a twisty maze of little standards, all different. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email sponsored by Black Hat Briefings & Training.
