Yes - that error is correct. The agent is broken.

Ok - so have a look at the relevant section
  (the subtree starting .1.3.6.1.4.1.4874.2.2.54.1.5):

.1.3.6.1.4.1.4874.2.2.54.1.5.1.1.1.2.19.80.95.84..... = enable(1)
        <etc>
.1.3.6.1.4.1.4874.2.2.54.1.5.1.1.1.2.19.80.95.84..... = enable(1)
.1.3.6.1.4.1.4874.2.2.54.1.5.1.1.1.2.6.99.49.52.45.101.55 = disable(0)
.1.3.6.1.4.1.4874.2.2.54.1.5.1.1.1.2.9.101.49.52.45.99.50.45.101.55 = enable(1)

Look at the OIDs - the "disable" one is lexically *smaller* than the one
before. The agent isn't sorting them properly before returning the
results.

Since the MIB table is indexed by a (non-IMPLIED) string, it should return
shorter string index entries before longer ones - regardless of the
character values. It's only equal length index strings that are
ordered by comparison of the string values.

I suggest you complain to the vendor of the agent.

Dave
