Suggest that you build and test your extension, even if using only stubbed functions, on a Linux platform. You will get your extension built much faster. Once you have that working, with debugging statements intact, then you should consider building it in the Windows environment. If you must develop changes to the net-snmp agent on the windows platform, you will get better service from the net-snmp developers if you first setup a MinGW build environment. The reasons are complex, but obvious if you have been following the mail archive list.
