Hi,
We are using net-snmp version 5.1.1 under linux environment. I am using netsnmp agents
in two different machines.
Both my agents are running in different machines and when I try to walk the node
sysServices for the first agent, I am geting the response properly. Similarly, if I ty
to walk the same node for the second agent, it gives null response. ( that is, not
data available).
The difference between both my agents is the option given in configure script.
The agent which is not retrieving the sysServices contains the following options while
running the configure script :
./configure
--with-cflags="-g -O0" \
--enable-shared=yes \
--enable-static=no \
--silent \
--enable-silent-libtool \
--with-endianness=$(ENDIANNESS) \
--disable-manuals \
--with-default-snmp-version="3" \
--with-sys-contact="zzzzz" \
--with-sys-location="Unknown" \
--with-persistent-directory="/var/tmp/" \
--with-logfile=$(UCDSNMP_LOGFILE) \
--enable-mini-agent \
--with-defaults
do we have any idea on this behaviour? Will one of the options provided in configure
script might stop retrieving the sysServices value?
Thanks for your help.
Regards,
Karthik. N
