The FAQ says:
Version 4.2 allows you to override these guessed values, using the
  configuration directive 'interface', specifying the name, type and
  speed of a particular interface.  This is particularly useful for
  fast-ethernet, or dial-up interfaces, where the speed cannot be
  guessed from the name.
    See the snmpd.conf(5) man page for details

And the snmpd.conf(5) says snmp will search the configuration files to set.

Is that means that it determines speed only by the configuration file?

How do i determine the speed dynamically ?
