From digging through the code the best bet I could come up with is
that this is due to strange interactions of strtok(..., ",") in both
read_configs() and DEBUGMSGTL() when the "-c" command-line option is
used. Version 5.1 onwards supports "-c file1,file2" and uses strtok()
to separate them. Possibly not the best idea given that strtok(3) has
severe limitations (see the BUGS section of strtok(3)).
Can we possibly get rid of strtok(), at least in read_configs()?
Better ideas?
