Hi Yinyan,

With what OS you are trying ? (Windows / Linux)

If you are using Windows, you can download net-snmp-5.2.1-1.win32.exe and use. If you want to do some modification or want  to configure some thing the download the source code of net-snmp-5.2.1 and you have to compile using Visual C++ to compile the source. For detailed steps see Readme.win32

If you are using Linux/Unix you can download the source code of net-snmp-5.2.1 and you can use ./configure command if the current have the file configure and configure.in. To run the perl configure you should in …

\net-snmp5.2.1\perl directory.

Did you install net-snmp before installing the Perl?

If you are using Linux, what version you are using?

I downloaded source code of  net-snmp-5.2.1 and extracted and try to

install the perl module.  Following the instruction of INSTALL, I need

to run "./configure".  But it was not recognized as a command.  Why?=20

Which file should I install, source code net-snmp-5.2.1.tar or

net-snmp-5.2.1-1.Win32.exe?

Many thanks in advance,
