I'm still in Davis ("back" actually), but I left the university a
while ago and haven't worked there for a while (and hence the project
name changed from UCD to "Net" about the same time that I left).
Ahh... humming computers in hutch. It's all so "desktop" these days.
I miss the reel-to-real backups I used to do. Actually, that's a lie.
I don't.
I too graduated from UCD. I remember used the PDPxx at
Hutchison to do to introduction to programming course.
Later I use the "iris" - a "big" DEC mainframe at the EE department.
Later I transition to HP workstation HP3000, HP800, etc.
