Regarding ssCPURawIdle

Can some one please inform how to get the percentage of CPU utilized by using this OID.

And why is ssCPUIdle deprecated?

And is this value, average over past few minutes?

Because I see from the "top" command in linux that the CPU idle time is changing but this value from snmpwalk is not changing frequently L

Is there any other way to find out CPU Usage in linux( SuSE linux 9.0 and 8.0) ?
