One final comment that I forgot to make.

If someone is currently using the current version in a production
environment, then they would still have the option to continue to use
this same code - configured in exactly the same manner as before.
I wasn't proposing that we *remove* the existing implementation code
(at least not for a while yet)

It might need a bit of tweaking for
        --with-mib-modules=disman/event-mib
to automatically imply
        --with-out-mib-modules=disman/event
but that shouldn't be impossible to achieve.
