We definitely need to do a better job of at least reporting decisions
made and asking for objections.  Many times there are 3+ developers on
IRC that come to a hopefully sound conclusion (much faster than we
could over e-mail).  However, most of the conversations end with
"propose that on -coders" but certainly not all end that way...
sorry.

Side note: the logs should be back on and running fully again.  I
won't explain the details as to why they were missing for those few days.
