I have somes agents build with ucd-snmp ( old version of net-snmp ) .
I have done the porterage of this agents with net-snmp 5.4 to x86
solaris 10.
I adapt the new makefiles agents of net-snmp and keep agent.c and
agent.h code ( which contains init_agent and var_agents functions )
I obtains the build of agent binary.
But dont know if my problem is a config problem or agent build problem.
When I launch the agent binary : /opt/FERMA/sbin/agtcks -p 7075 -c
/etc/opt/FERMA/agent.cfg -f -Le -d
with -f -Le -d options to see if agent received request ...
And I execute : snmpwalk -c public -p 7075 172.17.118.18 72.17.118.18
.1.3.6.1.4.1.2390.1.3.1 from other machine.
I don't see the request come on on agent ...
note : .1.3.6.1.4.1.2390.1.3.1 is oid base of the agent
More, when I execute the following request :
snmpget -v1 -c public 172.17.118.18 sysUpTime.0
the agent receive the following packet : ( but not responding to this
request )

I read FAQ on agent, but I don't understand how "firewal" can 't stopped
request to.
Who can be assur firewall role.
I have check access rigth set : it seems be ok for me.
There is some config change between ucd-snmp and net-snmp5.4 ?
Uncompatibility ?
( I have read the doc : but it seems to be OK for me )
More other, I have set some traces in agent.c code : init_agent
functions is called with success
but, var_agent functions never has been called ?
How I can correct this problem : it's a config problem or build agent
problem ? ( with new library ?)
I have read FAQ a long time, look for information, and I have try a lot
of changes and test without success ?
Can you help me ?
