You know, I'm starting to get a little tired of being expected to do your thinking for you. Please take a *proper* look at the project download pages, and consider the possible distinction between "net-snmp" (i.e. source distributions) and "net-snmp binaries". I would also suggest that you spend a little time learning about the fundamentals of the environments that you are working with. RPM files are not exactly uncommon in the Linux world!
