I haven't counted, but there's almost certainly an odd number
of hyphens in this line.      The "left-over" hyphen is treated
as a real part of the MIB, and throws the error.

Never Ever Ever use lines of dashes to separate parts of a
MIB file.   Use two dashes to mark the start of a comment,
but then use some other character to complete the line.

i.e.
     -- ==========================
or
     -- ________________________
or
     -- ........................................

Using a complete line of dashes will work three times
out of four, but will break seemingly at random.
