We'd only be removing it from future versions, so that doesn't quite
hold water since they already need to recompile since the lib version is
changing drastically in trunk publishes.

I'll let others weigh in on an opinion (hopefully) to see if someone
pushes me hard enough to fall off the fence.  Actually, I'm leaning one
way more than the other but I won't divulge my gravitational pull at
this time.
