know how : 1> How to stop the /usr/local/sbin/snmpd in ubuntu gracefully ?
2> How to add mib directory path other than a default path ?
I am trying to run agentx
With the latest source code I have run
$ ./configure --disable-embedded-perl --without-perl-modules
$ make
# make install
# cat /usr/local/share/snmp/snmpd.conf
rocommunity public
master agentx
#/usr/local/sbin/snmpd
I expected that 705 port for agentx will be listening . But I do not see . Is
this running as agentx?
3> What is the issue can be ?
