The first public RC candidate (rc2) has been out for a week or so now. I haven't heard any reports of problems with this, or seen anything logged on the bug/patches tracker) (Apart from the timezone problem - see the separate CFV)
There's only been one change to the 5.5.x code branch, being Jan's fix for the UCD-SNMP-MIB::systemStats 32-bit overflow warnings. (Possibly plus the timezone patch, if that gains general approval). It doesn't really seem worth spinning another RC release just for these two changes. How would people feel about me going straight to the final 5.5.1 release?
