Well...  There are definitely bits of things we don't handle right
because we're optimizing for other things.  maxMessageSize comes to mind
as an example, but it's not the only one.

Just because we're widely used doesn't mean that everyone believes we're
letter-perfect when it comes to implementing the specs, but I suspect
we're very close.
