Hi, I am running snmptrapd on linux machine. I am sending trap from the same machine. I am able to receive trap on snmptrapd log and tcpdump logs. My snmptrapd conf file is as below.
authCommunity log,execute,net public createUser -e 0x8000000001020304 traptest SHA mypassword DES mypassword authuser log,execute,net traptest createUser -e 0x8000000001020304 myuser MD5 mypassword authuser log,execute,net myuser. In second scenario i am sending the trap(v2 and v3) from solaris and windows machine. I am able to receive traps on tcpdump. But snmptrapd is unable to receive traps. Thanks, Jayshankar
