Did these other systems have a version of the Net-SNMP agent installed
previously?

How do you start up the agent on these remote systems?
What's the *exact* command?

Can you try restarting it using "-Dread_config" (with the rest of the
command unchanged) and check that it *is* reading the config settings
that you expect?

It might help if you posted your config file (with any sensitive
information deleted, of course!)
