Hi Greeting: I have a similar question. I have the private MIB file. Where should I place this file for the install? There is mibs directory under net-snmp root directory. Can I place my private MIB file there? Will the 'make install' copy my private MIB file to the /usr/local/share/snmp/mibs? Or I have always manually copy my private MIB file to the /usr/local/share/snmp/mibs directory.
Thanks, Jim -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Tam Sent: Monday, August 16, 2004 5:24 PM Cc: Net-Snmp-Users Subject: Re: where should I place the snmpd.conf file snmpd.conf is a separate thing from the install process, the two are not related in any sense other than the application being installed. However. It's normal 'home' is /etc/snmd.conf Hope this helps.
