I doubt that's the solution, since Prashanth is clearly seeing
the output from snmptrapd.
I suspect that the trapdaemon isn't loading the MIB files properly.
If you run
snmptrapd -Dparse-mibs .....
that will show which MIB files are being loaded.
Can you see any mention of IF-MIB ?
Which directories is it looking in?
