Hello,
i played a little bit with snmpwalk/get/translate and found a strange
behaviour.
snmpwalk host sysUptime -> okay
snmpget host systUptime.0 -> sysUptime.0 Unknown Identifier (Sub-id not
found: (top) -> sysUptime)
the snmpget error is clear. correct name sysUpTime ('T' uppercase). why
snmpwalk , work ? So i tried snmptranslate and some -I options
snmptranslate sysUptime -> same error as above
snmptranslate -IR sysUptime -> Unknown object identifier: sysUptime
snmptranslate -Ib sysUptime -> SNMPv2-MIB::sysUpTime (-Ib made a
caseinsensitive search)
so i tried
snmpget -Ib host sysUptime.0 -> Unknow engine ID
normaly snmpget/translate use the same options or ??
