Hi Thomas, I cd into the snmplib directory that I untarred from the net-snmp-5.1.2.tar and ran the below command:
/usr/bin/ld -B verbose -b +h libnetsnmp.sl.6 +b /usr/local/lib -o .libs/libnetsnmp.sl.6.2 -lc which did not produce any o/p.
