In these days of hyperthreading you have to be careful
whether you're talking about logical or physical CPUs.
I assume you'd want # of logical CPUs and statistics
based on these, rather then physical CPUs.

I don't think the agent does anything to detect/take into account multiple
CPUs. Patches welcomed!
