Jose> Starting snmpd: /usr/sbin/snmpd: error while loading shared libraries: Jose> /usr/sbin/snmpd: undefined symbol: netsnmp_daemonize Jose> [FAILED]
Checking the source, it looks as if the routine 'netsnmp_daemonize' was introduced as part of the 5.1.x line. Is it possible that you're running a 5.1.x agent but it's picking up a 5.0.x version of the library? Did you compile everything from scratch, or are you working with pre-installed binaries? Sven> the output from ldd looks ok, but I'm a bit surprised that it needs Sven> librpm librpmdb and so on, that confuses me. That's not uncommon - particularly if the agent supports the Host Resources MIB. It needs to be able to query the RPM database in order to support the hrSWInstalled group.
