Thanks again ... I change on the server doing the monitoring. I look and there both snmp libraries (usr/lib/*snmp* /usr/local/lib/*snmp*)
Should I remove "/usr/lib/*snmp*" or "/usr/local/lib/*snmp*" ??? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Robert Story" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Maro A. A. So where did you change the software - on the server doing the monitoring, or on the 70 hosts being monitored? Did you remove the slackware package before installing from source? Did it remove the old libraries? Make sure you don't have duplicates by running ls /usr/lib/*snmp* /usr/local/lib/*snmp* There should only be snmp libraries in one or the other, not both. -- Robert Story; NET-SNMP Junkie Support: <http://www.net-snmp.org/> <irc://irc.freenode.net/#net-snmp> Archive: <http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?forum=net-snmp-users> You are lost in a twisty maze of little standards, all different. ------------------------------------------------------- SF email is sponsored by - The IT Product Guide Read honest & candid reviews on hundreds of IT Products from real users.
