Do I need to study the Solaris X.25 API? I can use RFC1382-MIB (for X.25) and mib2.c to generate the transmission.c and transmission.h. But its transmission code is too short to get more MIB value. For example, I can't get all X.25 ports status and input/output traffic. The Solaris X.25 API can get it, but I can't relate between X.25 API and mib2.c and transmission.c. I look into mibII and tcpTable code, there are some specific coding for specific tcpTable function. Is it true?

If I design the transmission.c for Solaris by using Solaris X.25 API, and built into snmpd. Then this method (transmission.c) should not be portable to IBM and HP Unix snmpd? So this snmpd is not easily portable, right? At least for this X.25 module.

Someone can correct me this issue.
